Manipulation is a dance of deception, where the puppet master leads, and the puppet dances to their tune — Friedrich Nietzsche

If you are interested in learning about dark psychology and manipulation, I suggest reading the following books:

A manipulator is a liar and liar never look
in the eye while lying.

Games People Play

Games People Play by Eric Berne is a classic book that explores the psychology of human relationships. Berne argues that people often engage in psychological games to meet their needs and avoid intimacy.

He identifies a variety of games, such as “One Up/One Down,” “Why Don’t You…Yes But,” and “Kick Me.” By understanding these games, we can better understand our own behavior and the behavior of others.

Think Like a Psychologist

Think Like a Psychologist by Patrick King is a guide to understanding and countering manipulative behavior. King provides readers with the tools they need to identify and protect themselves from manipulation. He covers a variety of topics, including gaslighting, guilt-tripping, and love bombing.

The ABC Dark Psychology 2.0

The Book written by Benedict Goleman and Daniel Robison is a short and informative introduction to dark psychology. The authors explore the dark triad of personality traits: narcissism, Machiavellianism, and psychopathy.

They also discuss common manipulative tactics, such as gaslighting, triangulation, and projection. Goleman and Robison’s book is a great starting point for anyone who wants to learn more about dark psychology.

Power: The 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene

This book is a one of my favorite, it is classic guide to power and how to use it. Greene identifies 48 laws of power, which he illustrates with examples from history and popular culture. The laws are divided into four sections:

Laws 1–14: The Laws of Seduction
Laws 15–27: The Laws of War
Laws 28–36: The Laws of Peace
Laws 37–48: The Laws of Human Nature

Greene’s book is a must-read for anyone who wants to learn how to manipulate people. It is both informative and entertaining, and it can teach you a lot about yourself and others.

These are just a few cool books about how people think. If you want to know more, check out these books and others like them. Reading these can help you understand this psychology better. So, give them a try and see what you learn!
