Why Nobody Cares
Medium is a great platform. It helps your life get better. It’s cool because we read different blogs and hear thoughts from people worldwide. It helps us learn and understand new things.

Today, let’s start with a quote and a story.
“You’ve gotta dance like there’s nobody watching, Love like you’ll never be hurt, Sing like there’s nobody listening, And live like it’s heaven on earth.”
― William W. Purkey
This quote inspired me, and I can’t even find the right words to say how much. Back in college, I was scared of what people might think about me. So, to get out of my comfort zone, I started doing internships.
During one of them, I met this nice guy who changed the way I think. He was thin but super kind. While we worked together, I saw that he never judged anyone; instead, he tried to understand them.
One day, I asked him, ‘Why aren’t you ever scared of people judging you? How do you handle it so easily?
He said, Macha(It is generally used to refer to a friend), people don’t care about how you look or what you do. We worry because we have fears inside us — fear of failing, being rejected, and other stuff. But these fears are just guesses.
His words changed me.
It doesn’t mean you shouldn’t think about anyone. There’s a difference between what random people think and what the ones you care about say.
People who care about you and are good for you guide you in the right direction instead of judging you.
My mom always said, “If you’re thinking about what people will think of you, then what will people think.” It’s tricky, but once you understand it, it will make sense.
Thank you for taking the time to read about my changed journey! 🙏😊
